People don't make mistakes on purpose (that would just be someone doing a bad thing). When someone makes a mistake be gracious and try to work out a solution - even if it is inconvenient for you. Remember - you might be the person making the next mistake.

If you find a waiter or waiterss you like, always ask to be seated in his or her section. Tell all your friends so they'll start asking for that server as well. You've just made that person look indispensable to the owner. The server will be grateful and take good care of you.
