Pick Up a Dozen Eggs

Next time you have to go to the grocery store, ask a neighbor if there is anything you can pick up for them.  What a treat to NOT have to run out for a quart of milk or a loaf of bread! Who knows, they may return the favor the next time they go to the store.

Do a Chore

Once in a while, without fanfare, do a chore that is normally performed by someone else in your household.  Imagine their delight to have that little bit of extra time to do something else or sit and have a cup of coffee.
