If you find a photo you think a friend might enjoy, send it off to him or her. Whether the photo os of family, house renovations or pretty flowers from your yard your photos will say "I was thinking of you when I saw this".

When traffic is awful and you are in a hurry, slow down and let one person pull in front of you. It may slow your trip by 30 seconds, but you’ll feel better for helping to brighten someone else’s day.

Sometimes you need to grit your teeth and listen to a story you’ve heard before (even MANY times). Act as though it is the first time you have heard it. It is a kindness the storyteller will never know about, but usually one you won’t regret.
